Golf carts and LSVs in Nocatee
- An LSV may be driven on county roads posted 35 mph or less, unless the county has posted the road as closed to LSVs. It may cross a faster road at an intersection.
- An LSV must be titled, registered and insured, and the driver must carry a valid driver license.
- Required LSV equipment: headlamps, stop lamps, turn signal lamps, taillamps, reflex reflectors, a parking brake, rearview mirrors, a windshield, seat belts and a VIN.
- Golf carts may only use county roads designated and signed for golf carts, and no road posted above 25 mph can be designated. Golf cart drivers must be at least 14.
- Golf carts and LSVs may not use sidewalks except signed multi-use paths, where the limit is 15 mph, a horn is required and pedestrians and bicycles have the right-of-way.
- A golf cart may only run between sunrise and sunset unless the county has approved night use on that road or path and the cart has headlights, brake lights, turn signals and a windshield.
