Golf carts and LSVs in Wellen Park
- In North Port, standard golf carts may only use designated roads: Holiday Park, Lakeside Plantation and Plantation Boulevard.
- LSVs may use streets with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less.
- LSVs are prohibited on these North Port roads regardless of speed limit: Atwater, Biscayne, Chamberlain, Cranberry, Haberland, Pan American, Panacea, Price, Salford, San Mateo, Sumter and Toledo Blade.
- LSVs must be titled, registered and insured (PIP and PDL), and the driver must carry a valid driver license.
- LSV equipment includes headlamps, turn signals, stop and tail lamps, reflectors, mirrors, a parking brake, a windshield, a seat belt for each seat and a VIN.
