Street-legal LSVs for WaterColor and 30A
Golf carts aren't allowed on public roads around WaterColor and the rest of 30A, but a registered LSV is. WaterColor and its neighbors along 30A are in unincorporated Walton County, where the Sheriff's Office says golf carts are not permitted on any public roadway, while a registered low-speed vehicle (LSV) can use roads posted 35 mph or less. The WaterColor Community Association also runs its own LSV registration for the community. Every Backyard Escapism cart is built as a street-legal LSV in 4, 6 and 8 seat layouts with lithium batteries.

WaterColor golf cart questions
Can I drive a golf cart in WaterColor?

Do I register my LSV with WaterColor?
The WaterColor Community Association has its own LSV registration and renewal process for the community, separate from your state tag. Check with the association for its current requirements.

No. Walton County bars LSVs from every sidewalk and bike path, and from US Highway 98 and its sidewalk. You may cross US 98 only at a four-way intersection.
